The Married Life

Marriage is FANTASTIC!

And as my friend Rachel used in her blog, I have a new last name.

Casey Bahr. I like it. It sounds like Candy Bar. :) Or as my friend Riley keeps calling me, Casey Bear. He even wrote in our letter Dear Casey Bear and Drew Bear... :) I love that kid. He's so great.

So the sealing and reception were fantastic. I am so incredibly happy that everything went PERFECTLY.

And a public thank you to: my parents (Phyllis and Allen), my siblings (Sarah, Cam, Ale, Chris), Rachel Augustus, Jillian Mather, Drew's family (Mindy, Dan, Ruth, Gerry), Grandmother, the various aunts/uncles/cousins and family, and to all of my friends.

Just... thank you. It made everything wonderful.

So I won't be getting my pictures until probably right before thanksgiving, but here is a preview of the day from pictures that my mom and Sarah were able to take. Enjoy! :)

Aunt Jackie, Me, Drew and Uncle Dick (he was our Sealer)
The groomsmen (Cam, Oscar, Kevin, Michael, Jared, Ryan)

I love being Casey Bahr. :)

This Friday

I'm getting married.

I know that it's the only thing I've really been posting about... but it's this week!

Which means that in addition to taking a test and 2 quizzes this week, I'll also be seeing my mom and dad, my brother and sister-in-law, Drew's family and it's really going to hit.

Because right now Drew and I are doing wedding stuff yes, like we worked on making favors last night (we weren't very successful) and I am almost completely moved into our apartment! All I have in my current apartment is my bedding, a change of clothes for a week, my school books and my bathroom items.

But everything else is not only in Drew and my apartment, but it's actually like in the drawers or hung up in the closet or packed away in the closet.

So... I'm practically moved in. And by the end of this week I'll have a new roommate and something tells me that he's not going to move out. :P
So I'm really looking forward to it. And I officially start my new life on friday.

Wow, this friday.

I can't wait. :)

The countdown begins...

Today it is 11 days until we get married.

YAAAY!!! :)))))))

I'm SO excited! Like... you have no idea.

We were sitting and talking and we realized that this next Friday, Saturday and Sunday are our last of those days as single people.

Holy cow!
(I thought the picture was funny :) )

Life has been so hectic. It's midterms and Drew and I are both swamped. And yet we still find time to just be with one another and be goofy. It's been so great the past two weeks. We've been bonding like we never have before. I am so glad to have found my best friend and I'm even more grateful that I'm marrying him. I have truly been blessed to have him in my life.

It's nice to know that I have found someone that loves me for me. And I adore him so much. We have a great love. :)

(This pretty much sums us up)

We've both come to the point where we want to just get married tomorrow. We don't want to have to deal with the next 10 days (mainly because it's filled with a zillion tests and midterms...yay! :( )

But I get to see my mom in a week, which is really nice. I've missed her and it'll be great to see her and my dad even if that week I will probably still have stuff to catch up on. Boo.

These are all of the things that are due for me in the next 10 days: a paper for geography, an exam for geography, a quiz for geography, a paper for marriage and family life, a test for marriage and family life, an exam for floral design, an ID quiz for floral design, my major paper for Political Economy of the Middle East and arabic homework on top of that.

And that's just me. That doesn't even include all of the work for Drew. Oh, and one of the classes I TA for just finished a test so I'll be grading those as well. >.<

Yay college life. At least I get married in 10 days. :)
