Wadi Rum and exploring Aqaba

Soo... on day 3 we went to Wadi Rum. It's the place where Lawrence of Arabia was at some point. Either way fun and cool. We got to do an off-roading tour followed by a camel ride which then culminated in an amazingly awesome bedouin feast.

We went in to the visitor's center, watched the promotional video and then it was funny because one of the workers saw me trying to put on my scarf and he tied it for me. So woo! Legit scarf tying!

It was absolutely beautiful. Albeit a bit bumpy and windy.

The camels! I have decided that while I don't hate camels as vehemently as I did after riding one up Sinai, I still don't find the ride very pleasant....

View from the camel

Drew got to actually ride a camel instead of being led by one in a circle! (India...)
Our camels were slow. But I didn't mind.

This was my camel

Even little London braved the camels!

This is where we had lunch...it was amazing

After our fun day in the sun, we headed to Aqaba. We would be spending the next day there and Drew and I wanted to explore once we got there. So we went with a group and it was great!

We walked through quite a few of the markets and came upon this BEAUTIFUL mosque that was near the sea. It was great!

Group picture with (R-L) David, Mike, Lucy, Pat, Sarah, Marc, Phil, Drew and Me. :D

We also randomly came upon a section of the stores that had this above them... bizarre.

After exploring, we found a good shawerma place and look what we found!

The guy had no idea what it said and once we explained it to him he was pretty nice.
